This research was carried out in order to determine appropriate types of peanut under the Eastern
Mediterranean conditions in Adana and Osmaniye lokations in 2014. While Adana location was conducted
in the Eastern Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute research area, Osmaniye location was
conducted in Oil Seed Research Institute research area. Both the experiments were established as a
randomized complete block design with four replications. In the study were used eight peanut genotypes
and as a control 4 registered varieties. In the study, fruit number per plant, fruit yield per plant, ratio of oil
(%), internal rate (%), fruit yield (kg /da) and a Oil yield (kg/da) have been investigated as properties.
Inresearch fruit yield per decare is changed between 428.3 and 252.5 kg / da, the highest yield of fruit
obtained from ANT-1 genotype, and the lowest fruit yield was obtained from M-44-A genotype. The oil content
of peanut varieties ranged from %47.2 to 50.9.The highest and the lowest oil contents were obtained from
ICGV-88365 and 70 / 1145-1 / 03 respectively. As a result, in statistically into the same group in terms of oil
yield Com, ANT-1, 2012-609-1, 70 / 1145-1 / 03, ICGV-99085 and Halis beygenotypes can be recommended
for Cukurova conditions.
