Impact of the Application of Humic Acid at Different Growth Stage and Different Doses on Yield and Yield Component of Summer Rape (Brassica napus ssp. oleifera)
2 Ankara Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü , Ankara DOI : 10.21566/tarbitderg.281880 - This research was conducted at the experimental field of Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ankara in 2003. Seeds of Sary and liquid humic acid that includes humic acid + Fulvic acid + potassium oxide was used in the experiment. The aim of the research was to determine the impact of the application times (Z1=application to soil before sowing, Z2= at 6-8 leaf stage, Z3= at jointing stage, Z4= at 50% flowering stage) and doses (0, 500, 1000 and 2000 ml da-1) of humic acid on yield and yield components of summer rape. The experiment was established as split plots of completely randomized blocks design with three replications. The results indicate that the highest oil ratio was obtained from the 2000 ml da-1 humic acid applied at the jointing stage with 85.9 cm and the lowest oil ratio was obtained from the control. However the highest seed yield was determined from the 1000 ml da-1 humic acid applied at 6-8 leaf stage with 169.4 kg da-1 the lowest seed yield was determined from the 2000 ml da-1 humic acid applied at the jointing stage with 110.6 kg da-1. Results revealed that application of humic acid at the dose of 1000 ml da-1 yielded beter results for all stage of growth. Keywords : Rape, oilseed, application time
