This research was conducted two years in the fields of Field Crops Department of Faculty of Agriculture
of Ege University between 2013-2015. In three field pea varieties (Kirazlı,Töre and Taşkent) grown in two
row spacings (20 and 40 cm) yield and some yield characteristics (Plant height, fresh matter yield, rate and
yield of dry matter, rate and yield of crude ash) were investigated. Over two year's results, the plant heights
155.89 and 144.56 cm, fresh matter yields 4360 and 3398 kg/da, dry matter rates 18.12 and 17.81%, dry
matter yields 782.4 and 595.1 kg/da, crude ash rates 8.30 and 7.93% and crude ash yields 63.8 and 44.7
kg/da were found for 20 and 40 cm, respectively. It was found that Töre and Taşkent could be promising
varieties for Ege region.
