THE USE OF PRODUCTION FUNCTIONS IN ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF AGRONOMIC EXPERIMENTS

1 Tarla Bitkileri Merkez Araş. Enst. ANKARA - In a farm business, scarce resources should be allocated to ensure the production of high quality goods at competitive prices. There are several methods to assess whether limited resources are being allocated efficiently. In this study, the Classical Production Function approach is discussed. The optimum input use is a function of both product and fertilizer prices. Therefore, input use should naturally vary with changes in prices, and this should be considered by the farmers in decision making. Keywords :
