¹ Tarla Bitkileri Merkez Araştırma Enstitüsü Müdürlüğü (TARM), Ankara - Turkey has a rich natural biodiversity which has a great amount of medicinal and aromatic plant species. Nowadays, their usage are‟nt limited with medicine, food, bewerage, cosmetic industry and veterinary medicine. Organic farming and in phytoremedition as bioaccumulator are the potential usage fields of these plants. Sage, oregano and thyme species are important export products which can be tolerant of drought and cold. Irrigation enhanced the yield, and make two or more harvest possible, annually. In this rewiev, informations are given about the cultivation and usage fields of sage (Salvia officinalis L.), oregano and thyme species.
