SUBSIDAZATION AND SUPPORTIVE PURCHASES: WHO BENEFITS MORE?

Agricultural policies have different purposes. Social stability and economic growth in addition to food security are important purposes of agricultural policies. Income distributions is a significant social purposes. However, agricultural policies sometimes may result in an income distribution to the favor of large size farmers. Therefore, agricultural policies should be well examined and its effect should be put forward prior to implementation. In this study, that the large farmers comparing to small scale farmers do benefit from agricultural support policies was proved.
